UPDATE:
What happend to this website?
After being the official website for SHINING a few years, always updating after Kvarforth's instructions and having a freindly relationship to ex and current Shining members... and then there silence. Rumors of a new website came, and no info to confirm this. Later Kvarforth issued a comment about his poor life being fucked up as usual and that he has nothing to do with the new website, that I should talk to bassist Hallander. Hallander then calls me apologizing and denying he has anything to with it, saying that their new manager wants to bring in someone else to do it. If it was a professional looking page I would have understood, but it was a crappy rip-off site that stole my 80 live pictures from Stockholm. I wasn't about to redirect this site to the new one without Kvarforth talking to me, which hasn't since.
What happend to guitarists Casado & John Doe?
According to reports, at first Casado was fired behind his back without his knowledge. Later John Doe was going to be fired after having a violent outburst within the band. Then they called Casado asking him if he was up for touring (secretly to replace then fired John Doe) but due to work commitments Casado couldn't tour at that moment. They had already plans on taking in a second guitarist from ONDSKAPT, and when Casado wasn't available they took in another guitarist without informing Casado he had been replaced... just like they replaced the website without saying a word.
And now...?
Kvarforth has had a bad reputation in the past for ripping off people, not paying our royalties, etc. Despite my warnings for him to talk to people, set things right, make amends... he didn't. Basically Kvarforth leaves a trail of ex-friends and ex-band members who no longer want anything to do with him.
So whats new?
Well nothing realy... except the fun possability that a new group might emerge from the ashes of the past. SUICIDE SQUADRON (of Stockholm, not Halmstad) might become an reality, consisting of several ex-members of SHINING including Wedebrand, Phil A. Cirone, Casado, possibly John Doe and maybe even a guest appearance by Tusk and others. After all, this website is called Suicide Squadron.... so stay tuned.

BEWARE OF FAKE SHINING WEBSITE
It's come to my attention there exists a new fake website out there that claims to be the new official site. This is false, and I will not link up or mention the new site here as I will not promote this site in anyway. The most pathetic part is that the site is a 100% rip-off of my site, my (primative & crap) design and of all my contents that I have added, researched and written. Even more annoying is this site has stolen all my 80 live photos from Shining's Stockholm gig without giving credit to me. Stay tuned for more additions, updates & tour dates.

LIVE IN STOCKHOLM
The Gallery has been updated with 80 live photos, taken by myself,
from October 28, 2005 at H62 in Stockholm, Sweden. Speacial guest Acerbus of Ondskapt joined Kvarforth on stage for a song (and some violence). Even ex-Shining bassist Phil A. Cirone attended the show, as seen in the last two photos having a chat with guitarist Casado. This show was arranged by
Lord Demon Productions.

WEBSITE UPDATED
First on September 6, and now again. The entire website has been updated and much more is coming, including reviews, a detailed biography covering past members, a more detailed discography featuring the different album pressings & their artwork. A new online gallery is now available, and should open up in a separate window. If it doesn't, right click on the mouse and select "open in separate window". Stay tuned for more.
GALLERY NOW AVAILABLE
As some may know by now, Shining have completed their line-up with Hallander on bass and Casado on guitar, played their first three shows, live for the first time, without any casualties within the band! Amazing considering this band has been cursed for so many years. Photos from these three live shows plus new band (promo) photos are available in the brand new "gallery". More tour dates to come as soon as they get confirmed.

SHINING RETURNS
SHINING are now officially allied with the highly repected french record label Osmose Productions. They have signed a deal of two albums whereas the first one, "V / Besvikelsens Dystra Monotoni" is to be recorded in April. To celebrate this event Osmose Productions and SHINING have decided to once and for all issue the first two albums "I / Within Deep Dark Chambers" and "II / Livets Ändhållplats" in luxurious digipack versions including one exclusive bonus track each and for the first time ever fully printed lyrics as well as linear notes.
Kvarforth did about one year ago announce the death of the band due to many unpleasant circumstances which have been prominent the past years both within the band and around him personally but now, with a basically entirely new line-up of Ludvig Hvit (of SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, FIREBIRD) on drums, John Doe (of CRAFT, TWIN EARTH) on solo/rhythm guitar, and at this very moment a anonymous person on lead guitar. A new era has begun to take shape. The reason for this new line-up is simply because there is a need to rehearse and play live which never would have worked out in long terms with the previous members considering the distance inbetween. SHINING are currently rehearsing a live-set as well as the new material and are currently looking for a full time bassist to replace former member Phil A. Cirone.
